Due to unforeseen administrative problems, we have had to reschedule the AGM for a second time. It will now take place online at 6pm on Tuesday 22nd July.
We are now confident that we have identified the underlying cause of these administrative problems and we have taken steps to address them. But at this point we are unable to further discuss the reasons for this, or more details of the actions taken, due to confidentiality obligations.
We understand that this may cause inconvenience and apologise for this. Our priority now is to ensure that the AGM runs smoothly with all necessary financial and operational matters in order. Our rescheduled date remains within the legal timeframe allowed for an AGM.
Whilst Council are still presenting a motion to change accountants because we believe that we can deliver better value for members, we would like to make it clear that we do not now consider our current accountants responsible for the delays or issues.
