Hananja Brice-Ytsma FNIMH, MSc, DipTh
Fellow and a member of NIMH since 1990. and has practised for over 30 years, 20 of those years at Middlesex University at the Herbal Training Clinic. She lectures in pharmacology and herbal therapeutics, and gynaecology. Hananja is a co-founder member, Clinical Director and tutor at the Heartwood Professional Course.
Hananja originally trained as a Naturopath in the Netherlands, came to England to study at the School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in London, and continued training as a Herbalist in England. She has a Masters in Women's Health. She is a co-founder member and Clinical Director and tutor at the Heartwood Professional Course, and at the Heartwood Online Clinic.
Author of two books in the series 'Herbal Medicine in Treating Gynaecological conditions' published by Aeon Books, as well as co-editor of 'Herbal Exchanges', and contributor to James Wong's books on 'Grow your own Drugs'. Co editor for Herbal Exchanges.
At present sees patients with the Heartwood Online Clinic, a training clinic for Heartwood students.
