A reminder that nominations for Institute Council Members (Board Directors) close on March 28th, six weeks before the AGM on May 9th.
This is a great chance to help shape the future of the Institute and make a contribution to the practice of herbal medicine.
The role is mainly advisory but you will have the opportunity to become more involved in any projects that interest you.
All are welcome - we are especially keen to receive applications from people that can bring viewpoints and experiences that are currently less well represented on Council, such as those from diverse backgrounds and cultures, people with disabilities, and those from outside of England.
This is a voluntary position that requires attendance at 3 online Council meetings per year and one in-person weekend in Exeter (expenses covered). We also host monthly online drop-in sessions for you to attend when possible.
Any nomination must have a proposer and a seconder, and have the consent of the Member being nominated. We will ask for a short statement from any nominee setting out why they wish to be elected, as well as a statement of any interests which Members should be aware of before voting.
Please send any nominations, with details of the proposer and seconder to the office team, or give us a call if you'd like to find out more.
