Antony Haynes

Antony has been in private practice for 30 years and is one of the most experienced Registered Nutritional Therapists in the country. He is one of the first practitioners to implement the principles of Functional Medicine in the UK, since 1992.

Antony has seen over 18,500 clients, presented over 300 hundred lectures & webinars on a wide variety of subjects, focusing on the nutritional biochemistry as it relates to health conditions, and had many hundreds of lab tests conducted by these clients.

He is a successful, award-winning author of two books on nutrition, The Insulin Factor (published in the UK 2004 and in the USA) and The Food Intolerance Bible (published in the UK 2005 and in Taiwan & Romania), and has appeared on television and radio.

In March 2011 Antony was awarded the prestigious CAM Magazine Award for “Outstanding Practice” for his many years of educating, inspiring, motivating and helping practitioners and patients.

The very first supplement that Antony ever recommended is the precursor to the neurotransmitter dopamine, meaning that almost from his very first client back in 1992, he has been involved and passionately interested in the communication molecules in the brain. He has since lectured to practitioners on neurotransmitters at The Royal Society of Medicine, internationally, and in webinars.
